Becoming a Friend or Sponsor

 

Each year, Derby Bach Choir performs a wide variety of choral works from different eras and traditions, and with professional and semi-professional soloists and orchestras including specialist Baroque ensembles

By becoming a Friend or Sponsor of the choir you will be contributing towards maintaining the high standards of our concerts and supporting a group dedicated to advancing classical choral music in Derby.​​

Friend of the Choir

For donations of at least £50 per year the choir offer:

• Invitation to an interval drinks reception with other Friends and Sponsors at each concert

• Complimentary concert programmes and acknowledgement of your support

• Notification of concerts and social events

Sponsor of the Choir

For donations of at least £150 per year the choir offers all of the above benefits, plus a free ticket to each of our three main concerts per year.

Corporate sponsors are also offered the opportunity to have their company logo included on the choir's stationery, including concert programmes and the annual brochure.

Sponsoring specific events

In the past we have been fortunate to lead special performances in collaboration with other local musical ensembles. One wonderful example of this was our performance of Belsshazzar’s Feast at the Roundhouse in Derby. Performances such as this reach bigger audiences but bring additional costs which we are not always able to meet, so we have not been able to repeat these events in recent years.

Social Events

The Choir will arrange social events throughout the year for our Friends and Sponsors, offering   relaxed entertainment and refreshments, and the opportunity to meet other Friends, Sponsors and choir members.  Details of these events will be shared with you in advance.
