An unmissable combination and one of the big events of our season!

We are excited to explore these imaginative settings of psalms and religious experience, with a full orchestra as well as organ, exploiting the space in the Cathedral to the full! There is a personal connection in the first two pieces for our conductor, as both Bernstein and Britten were commissioned for St Matthew's Church, Northampton, where Richard Roddis began as a chorister, following in family footsteps.

We also welcome another chance to work with musicians from Derby Cathedral, past and present.
