Season 61/62 update
Derby Bach Choir is actively following Government and scientific advice, both in rehearsal and concert planning. We have been working with Derby Cathedral, St John's and Ticknall Parish Church to provisionally re-book planned events within a realistic timeframe, and are very grateful for their ongoing support of the Choir and of other Arts events. Appropriate social distancing and care for all audience members and performers are our priority.
We were sorry that we had to cancel the Fauré Requiem / Kodály Missa Brevis Concert (postponed from Saturday 21st March). For any refunds still required please contact: - or use the contact form on the website (via menu above: More).
We are now planning for concerts later in 2021 - Judas Maccabeus on 6th November 2021 is a (revised) date for your diaries! Thank you for your support of the Choir, originally founded as the Phoenix Choir, and we look forward to seeing you again. We are hoping that restrictions will be sufficiently relaxed to hold a Come and Sing event sometime in the Summer, detail to be circulated in due course.
We are Derby Bach Choir - a leading choir in the East Midlands with a core membership of around 90 singers. We perform at least 3 concerts every season with a varied repertoire and also host a Come and Sing event annually, open to all. Now in our 60th Season, there has never been a better time to come and join us in celebrating the greatest choral music.
