Derby Bach Choir started the 2025-26 season with a feast of Bach, his Magnificat complemented by the later Ascension Oratorio - and featuring the wonderful Double Violin Concerto from our baroque musicians.

Our most recent concert showcased a festival of psalm settings by Britten, Bernstein and Stravinsky, and was a hugely enjoyable event, with a great line-up of soloists and musicians from the Cathedral music department. Next is our Come and Sing, a must both socially and musically.

New members are welcome, especially at the start of each term. To continue performing great pieces we continue to recruit, in Bass and Tenor sections especially. To find out more about singing with us click here. Come along to a concert or the next Come and Sing and hear what we do!

We are Derby Bach Choir - a leading choir in the East Midlands with a core membership of around 90 singers. We perform at least 3 concerts every season with a varied repertoire and also host Come and Sing events, open to all. Now in our 66th Season - come and join us in celebrating the greatest choral music.
