Rehearsal Schedule

Rehearsals began again for the November 15th concert on Wednesday 3rd September, St Anne's Church (DE1 3NB) at 7.30pm.
​
Copies of the Ascension Oratorio are still available to buy or hire - if you have an edition of the Magnificat, any edition will be fine.
​
We've enjoyed discovering the Ascension Oratorio so far - and catching up with everyone again over cake and coffee / tea.
​
Rehearsals for Stravinsky Bernstein and Britten - please book your holidays carefully!
​
For this concert on 25th April after Easter please plan for rehearsals 7th January - 25th March 2026 and then two further rehearsals after a short Easter break, 15th and 22nd April.

The email newsletter gives additional details about events, including publicity for other choirs' concerts or Come and Sing events, and other choir news.

If you need to miss a rehearsal, our register-keeper will note this for you, or you can speak to a member of the committee.

Publicity

If anyone is able to assist with any part of our marketing/publicity, please let us know. We always welcome multiple people who can help in this area.
Things we need help with are: the website (could be a team, as it includes both creative graphics and updating the information and managing the domain and emails); poster design & printing; poster distribution; programme design & printing; advertising events online; design of annual brochure; contacts with the media and general marketing/PR work.

These aspects are all vital for ensuring we have audiences for our concerts. If split between many people the time required does not need to be a lot and training can be provided, we just need willing volunteers! Please speak to any committee member if you might be able to help with any of these areas.
